Natalie's POV
I slowly opened my eyes and I was greeted by an unfamiliar ceiling. My throat was dry and I was very tired. Asides the tiredness, I felt nothing. No pain or anything. I saw even surprised that I was alive.
I turned my head and tried to speak. My throat was dry and that made it difficult to talk, but it didn't hurt anymore. The pain from the time my attacker choked me was gone.
As I laid in the bed thinking about it, I realized that the person that attacked me seemed very familiar. I couldn't see it when I was being attacked because I was scared and trying to find safety.
