I listen to each tick on the clock as my body perspires mercilessly in the dark. I pant quietly, trying hard not to wake Gregory from his deep sleep. My insides twist and turn causing my face to scrunch up in pain. I have never been with child, that's for sure, but I'm certain that this kind of pain is not normal in this early pregnancy stage.
