We arrive in Aldrich two days later, and I'm exhausted and hungry. The cart leaves us at the bottom of the hill, and we have to hike all the way up to the castle; home. It's already midnight, and the only light out is of the moon. Benjamin carefully carries me out the cart and places me on the ground. I sit on our luggage, like Mavis, who's clearly having a hard time because of her massive stomach. “Are you alright?” I ask taking her hand. Mavis takes deep breaths as she nods. “I'm just tired. Very tired.” “Don't worry. As soon as we get home I'll make sure you're well pampered and rested. But for now, we have to carry on.” With the help of Benjamin, I help Mavis get back on her feet. “Benjamin, you and I will have to carry the luggage. Annette, you'll help Mavis hike,” I instuct.
