Marjorie's POV: Benjamin and I sit in the garden alone. As he sits across the wooden table, I can't help but fall in love with him all over again. “It's been long,” he says softly, his eyes meeting mine. I nod, “Too long.” We go quiet again. "I have missed you,” I say suddenly. I didn't mean to just put it out there, but I wasn't lying. I missed him so much. More than I had even realized, until he sat across me for the first time in two years. “I missed you too,” he said to my relief. But of course as always, his face was blank. “How have you been doing?” I asked him. “I've been alive. I kept breathing. And you? How have to been?” “Breathing. Just alive. But Benjamin I...I never stopped loving you. I love you now, and I'm certain that I always will. I was stupid to leave you–”
