At least. * * * * “My mother told me last night you’d called; what’s up?” Caroline said as she sat down in homeroom on Monday morning. “Uh, I was calling to see if you wanted to go to a movie on Sunday,” Gavin said, staring down at the top of his desk. “Midway is—was playing and you like war movies and—” “Oh, Gavin, of course, I would love to go. But it can’t be until weekend after next. This church retreat is for training Sunday school teaching assistants and it’s for two weekends, back to back.
