Just The Beginning

Freya Galen kept me in a dark room for weeks. He said he wanted to break me. He knew I didn't love him. His father told him I loved his brother. He taunted me with that. He told me how happy Revan was with Hazel. After a few more weeks, he began to torture me. "Should I let my brother marry first?" Galen taunted. "Watch you suffer before you marry me." "You won't break me," I told him. "I have suffered so much already. I have lost what meant the world to me already. What makes you think you could hurt me worse than I have already." "I will have fun trying," he smirked. "You are a monster, far worse than your father," I told him. He slapped me hard across the face. "Don't you speak of him!" Galen yelled. "Whatever you think you are gaining, you are not," I told him. He caressed my cheek and licked it before he waltzed out of the darkroom. I curled myself into a ball and closed my eyes. I was helpless. I couldn't reach anyone from here. Who could I even ask for help? If I asked the fairies, they might be angry that I had laid with a lycan. I hadn't given an offering in months. Then, there was Aizen, would he help me to set me free or to keep me for himself as he had already done. I guess I was alone in this. I had to find a way to gain my freedom. The next day, Galen didn't come to visit me. It took him three days to visit me. "We are having a party," he announced. He looked chipper. He was dressed elegantly and smelled of cinnamon. "You look horrible but let's get you dressed my queen." He extended his hand and I reluctantly took it. He helped me up and took me out of the room. My eyes closed once the light had hit them. I slowly tried to open them but it was taking time to adjust to the light. I was led to a room where two ladies were waiting by the door. "Give her a bath and then help her into the dress I left on her bed," he told them. I didn't want to be obedient but this was the only option I saw fitting. If I played nice I could possibly get an advantage or an opening so I can run far away from here. After my bath, I was helped with my dress. It was a tight light pale pink gown. It had a high slit in the middle. The ladies did my hair and makeup and then took me to Galen. He was sitting on his throne with a smug look on his face. "Don't you look pretty," Galen said. "Now this is my beautiful queen. Don't you think brother?" I turned around as he said those words. Revan was staring at me. His wife suddenly came to stand next to him. "She is pretty," Hazel said. I swallowed hard. My heart beating so fast. Revan's eyes never left mine. "So, how about a wedding and a party," Galen announced. Hazel and Revan both looked at their king in shock." "You can't be serious?" Revan questioned. "Why not? You are in love with her, right brother?" Galen questioned back. "Why wait any longer?" I couldn't tell if Revan remembered me. His eyes held so many emotions I couldn't pinpoint a particular one. "So, what shall it be?" he asked. "Why not," Hazel cheered. Revan smiled and my heart broke. The party began a little while later. Revan and Hazel were dancing the entire time. Galen had me sitting on his lap like some trophy. "I think it is time for a wedding!" Galen announced. Revan and Hazel stepped forward. Galen gave them a devilish grin. His hand slipped through the slit of my dress. I tried to smack it away but it was no use. He held my hands with one hand and then continued to roam his fingers inside my dress with the other. Revan and Hazel looked confused. They began to turn away but Galen shouted. "STOP!" "Brother, please," Revan pleaded. "Stay and watch brother," Galen waved for his guards to stand behind them. He then continued to run his fingers over my core. He slipped my panties to the side and slipped a finger inside me. I gasped and then tried to scream but Galen covered my mouth. "Don't be rude," he said. "You know you like it." "Galen stop," Revan said. "This is uncalled for." "Why?" "What?" "Why? Why should I stop? She is my soon-to-be queen. I can do with her what I please," Galen said. "Then show her some respect," Revan said. "Do this in private." "But then I wouldn't be able to see your face, you look, angry brother," "Because she doesn't deserve this embarrassment," "Is that all?" Galen said. "IS THAT ALL, REVAN?" Revan didn't answer him. Tears began to fall from my eyes. Galen noticed and licked a drop that fell from my eye. He continued for several more minutes. I let my mind go blank. All the guests finally left and Galen let Revan and Hazel go too. He left me sitting on his throne and went to his room. One of the ladies that helped me get dressed came for me. She walked me to my new room and helped me get dressed into a nightgown. "You know if you want to break free from here, I know someone who can help you," she said. "My name is Liz by the way." "What do you mean?" I asked. "There is this mage that is locked in the dungeon," she said. "She helped the last king but Galen keeps her locked in chains. He hasn't asked her for anything but if you help her she might help you. You are mage too, right?" "No, not exactly," I told her. "Well, what do you think? Will you help her?" she asked me. "I'm not sure," I said. "Well, keep in mind, what the king did today, is just the beginning,"
