Chapter 3

Ella POV

I woke up at 7 and went to have a shower. After it, I got ready for work.

I was wearing a black sleeveless top with a pencil skirt and wore my black platform heels. Why platforms? because I don't know how to walk in heels yeah I'm weird. I tied my hairs in a ponytail. I don't do much makeup except mascara and a lip gloss. I checked the time and it was 7:35.oh shoot I went outside and in my car. I went to Starbucks and got my latte. I didn't have my breakfast because last night I eat a lot, so I'm not hungry. I played some music and start driving towards my office. I was happy that I had got a job it will keep me occupied from the thoughts of my family. I reached my office in about 10 minutes. I parked my car and then went inside. I greeted Olivia on my way and then walked towards the elevator. I pressed the button after a while I heard a familiar ding. I went outside and met Stella.

“Good morning Stella”

“Good morning Ella. Congrats for the job,” she said excitedly.

“Thanks, Stella.”

“That's your office but first you should go to the boss, he will tell you your work and will guide you and oh listen would you like to join me and Olivia for lunch. You have met Olivia right?”

“Yeah I would love to join you guys and I have met Olivia.”

“Ok cool now go hurry up.”

I went towards Mr.knight's office. I knocked on the door and heard his familiar voice. I went inside.

“Good morning Sir”

“That is your office. You have to make my coffee and I need it on my desk sharply at 8. Your work will be to arrange the files, answer my calls and emails etc. I hate tardiness and keep that thing in your mind.” he said coldly. He is so freaking rude. I forced myself to smile.

“Yes sir. Is that all?”

“Yes, now you can leave.”

I went outside his office and start making my way towards my office. My office was so freaking nice. Wow

I really love the colour contrast of black and grey. I looked at my table and there were loads of work. I sighed and start working. After some hours I have done half of my work. I checked the time thank god it was my lunch break. I packed my bag and went outside. Stella was also packing.

“Hi ready for lunch, ”Stella asked

“Yeah I'm starving,” I said

“Ok, let's go then.”

We went to the cafeteria. We order our food then went to find a table. After a short while, Olivia came.

“Hey guys,” she said cheerily

“Hi Olivia where were you by the way”

“Ohh yeah I was busy. Hey, Ella and you got the job congrats,” she said giving me a warm smile.

“Yeah, thanks.”

“We should celebrate. There is a club which is owned by my brothers best friend. It's a very nice one and you both will love it.”Stella said excitedly.

“I don't know Stella I'm not a party girl, I have never been to a club,” I said feeling embarrassed.

“So this is your chance to experience it. Come on we only live once. Pretty please.”Olivia said with a puppy dog face.

“Ok fine but I will not drink,” I said. I never liked drinking, it makes me nauseous.

“Ok ok, ill text you the details we will meet there at 7,” Stella said.

We spend our time talking about random things. I got to know that Stella is single and Olivia has a husband. She got married last year. They asked questions about my family to which I simply replied that they died in a car crash and I have no siblings. They get the hint and didn't bring my family throughout the lunch for which I was glad. After lunch, we exchanged our numbers and went back to work. Finally, at 6 I was done with my work. I packed my bag and went to Mr.knight office to tell him that I was leaving. I knocked on the door and heard a 'come in' and I went inside.

“Sir I have finished my work. Is there anything else you need?”

“Why? are you leaving? but your work hours are from 8 to 6:30,” he said in his deep voice.

“Umm yes sir but I finished so I thought to leave early, ”I said politely

“Why do you have plans,” he said with anger in his voice?

“Yes, sir I'm going out with some of my friends,” I said irritated. Why the f**k is he interrogating me.

“Ok get out,” he said angrily .wow that was harsh.

“Umm ok goodbye,” I said. I was so angry at him. What's with him anyway? Why should I care? With a sigh, I went home and start looking for a dress. Stella has sent me the address, and she has said to dress up. I sighed I hate clubs. They were not really my scene. With a groan, I looked into my closet for a dress. Finally, I found something. It's a black sleeveless short dress with beads.it was backless with a scoop neck. I matched it with my black platform heels. It was perfect because I don't like to show much of my body.

after the dress I did makeup. If I have to get dressed then I will like to do it properly.

after that, I did my hair. I lightly curled it.

I was finally done thank god. I checked the time and it was 6:50. Ohh, shoot I will be late. I went outside to my car. I tried to start it but it wasn't starting. What the heck. I called a cab as I was already late. The place wasn't far away. It was 10 minutes away. Finally, I reached the place. At the front, Olivia and Stella were standing probably waiting for me. I hurriedly paid and went towards them. When they saw me approaching their mouth hung open.

“Holy f**k!! You look amazing.”Stella said.

“wow I'm speechless,” Olivia said wide-eyed

“Thanks, guys. You both look stunning too.”I said grinning.

“Ok, then what are we waiting for. Let's go and get drunk.” Stella said. I laughed lightly and went inside with them.
