When the knock on the door became persistent, I did not have much choice than to go see who it was. Whoever is there, better have a good reason for disturbing me at this time. Even though it was noon time, I still wanted to spend a little more time in bed with Mia.
"A group of rogues are making their way towards the North Gate, beta" the young soldier at the door reported, and whatever sleep I hoped to get disappeared immediately, and so did the disapproving look I was wearing before opening the door.
