Star's POV
It was amazing that Aleric decided to lie with us, with him beside us. All I wanted to do is cuddle closer. Maybe I could talk with Axel for a bit, try to understand his human. When I was sure both of the humans were asleep, I got up knowing Axel would try to stop me from leaving. It's funny how they always want to keep me in their line of sight at all times, after coming back from goddess knows where.
'Going somewhere?' He asked anxiously, watching me closely as I sat up.
'Hi to you too.' I smiled at him and he pulled me closer to lie on his chest.
'Hi' he smiled back, kissing my forehead and before long we were kissing and touching each other, it felt like the most natural thing to do in the world. His lips were soft and sweet. I could kiss him all day.
