It was true that I barged into the room after agreeing to wait outside, but I did that because I can't stand listening to her laugh so sweetly with someone that isn't me. Why is she not bothering to see whom she derives some of the warmth and comfort from? I wanted to see her eyes, the only feature that remained a misery to me. So yeah, it was more out of curiosity.
As we gathered together in the hallway, everyone was in their own thought. I tried to understand what I had done wrong but came up with nothing. The moment I walked into the room, I got shoved out almost immediately. Why was she suddenly hyperventilating after seeing me? It doesn't make any sense, I'm her mate for crying out loud. Didn't they say mates always make everything better? That is not how I envisioned
