A frustrated voice would speak

"Sadly, as if in a twisted joke, fate would make it so that, in his defeat, the Shadow King would fall in a new dimension made in his image and aptly named Antiverse. It wasn't unlike the Dimensions of the other gods, with one key difference: It fed off the parts of the Multiverse, like a parasite corrupting at each bite, granting dark abilities to its meal. This way, the Shadow King grew stronger, awaiting the day for his revenge.

In retaliation, the other gods came up with a plan: They chose a human girl, and from that point forwards her destiny would change."th one key difference: It fed off the parts of the Multiverse, like a parasite corrupting at each bite, granting dark abilities to its meal. The Cateclysm
Nia's escape from the perilous situation left her grappling with the trauma of five lost years and an unchanged appearance. Her mind teemed with racing thoughts, like elusive rodents she pursued, yearning for a semblance of stability. Gathering her resolve amidst the echoing voices of the past, she whispered to herself, "I have to do this," swallowing hard against the memories that threatened to engulf her. Five years earlier, Nia sat in the confines of Synaptech Ltd, crafting a virus to safeguard company data. Her discomfort with the task clashed with the smug demeanor of her boss, an epitome of corporate avarice. Questioning his intentions, she received rehearsed assurances about protecting company assets, though his deceit was palpable. Suddenly, the world shook as an alien craft materialized overhead, casting an ominous beam. Urging evacuation, Nia's warning was cut short as she was engulfed by a pixelated ray. In the present, Nia navigated a changed world, seeking solace in a nondescript café. Masking her turmoil with a curt coffee order, she found refuge in the bittersweet brew. A sudden tremor jolted her from her reverie, prompting a rush to her parents' flat, now reduced to rubble. Frantically digging through the debris, she uncovered their lifeless forms, unleashing a torrent of grief and regret. Confessing secrets to their silent forms, she surrendered to numbing despair, her surroundings tinged with an eerie hue. As the weight of her sorrow threatened to consume her, Nia struggled to stand, burdened by unseen forces. With an almost mechanical demeanor, she surveyed her surroundings before glitching away, disappearing into the unknown, leaving bystanders to ponder the enigma of the girl amidst the shifting colors of the storm. "New Hope City used to embody aspirations and dreams," Nia's voice quivered with emotion as she reminisced, "but now, all that remains is the wreckage left by the cataclysm. It granted me powers, yes, but it also birthed a new breed of criminal." A solitary tear traced her cheek, echoing the anguish within. "I refuse to let my home, my father's legacy, my mother's sanctuary, my family's haven, succumb to shattered dreams." With resolve etched in her features, Nia marched into her new office, where an old friend awaited her: Val.
