The drive to the hospital had done little to calm Zach’s nerves. He was worried about Thea. The idea of Zeus doing anything to her terrified him, and he was all too aware that there was little he would be able to do to protect Thea from him. He pulled into the parking lot and tried to calm down more before he went inside.
By the time Zach reached Chris’ room, he was feeling better. He had focused on thoughts of cooking with Thea and spending every second he could with her. Zach entered the room to see an extremely groggy Chris trying to talk to his mother as Thea recorded the events on her phone. Reginald waved Zach into the room as he held his hand over his mouth to keep from laughing as Thea recorded her brother.
“Heeeeey! Zaaaaach! What’s up?” Chris slurred as he tried to greet Zach.
