Dee stood motionless as he looked at Thea before he broke into a broad grin. He desperately wanted to see his friend while they were in the underworld but did not want to push Thea. He wanted her to be ready for that on her own.
“I was hoping you would say that,” Dee laughed with delight. “Come, we all need to see Reginald and ensure he is settling in properly.”
“Will we look like this or like our normal selves when we visit him?” Thea asked.
“We will look the same as we always have to him,” Sephi said as they hurried out of the palace.
“Thea!” Zita yelled as she galloped toward the group. “I was going to ask how the transformation went, but I can see it went well. You are magnificent!”
“Yes, she is,” Zach beamed with pride as he gazed at Thea.
“That she is!” Dee bellowed with pride
