Asclepius offered Thea his hand, but as Zach stood, he was forced to take a step back. Zach scowled at Asclepius as he helped Thea to her feet, kissing her head and wrapping his arm around her protectively. Asclepius smiled and nodded understandingly.
“There is no need to worry about my intentions, Zagreus. I am married to medicine and only want to help Thea so the two of you can marry as equals,” Asclepius told him. “If you will all follow me, I will take you to the area we have prepared. I hope it will be acceptable.”
Zach replied, “I know, Asclepius, and I am sorry for acting that way towards you. But I’m sure you can understand my protectiveness of Thea while she is here. I believe Hera told you what happened between Uncle Grandpa and Thea.”
