The Bloodstone Packs New Alpha

703 Words
I continued to work as an Omega in the Bloodstone Pack for a few weeks, watching their Alpha slowly meet his demise. I wanted to ensure that the new Alpha wasn't going to try and continue taking advantage of the Pack members. While I would have preferred if I could be the person who appointed the new Alpha, it was up to the pack to move forward. It was part of the restoring the balance as it was impossible to rid the world of the negative temptations that plagued all of humanity. True to his punishment the Alpha continued to challenge his warriors, he was continuously beat down and everytime he lost the Warriors would laugh. It became a daily event to watch the Alpha lose in a fight and the warriors started training the Omega's so they too could take a chance to inflict a little bit of pain on their Alpha, the same way he inflicted the pain on them all those years. You could see it in the Alpha's eyes how much he hated this, but true to my spell he was unable to do anything about it. Surprisingly enough the new Alpha came in the form of a rogue. While a lot of rogues were power hungry and evil, there were also a lot that lived on neutral territory and kept to themselves never bothering anyone. While some rogues went crazy without having a pack to call their own, others seemed to thrive. This rogue happened to be a former Bloodstone Pack member, he had denounced himself as a pack member a few years ago when he saw the treatment of the Omegas. He was a strong fighter and was training to be a strong and powerful warrior, but due to his age he was unable to challenge the current Alpha. When he was 17 decided he could no longer watch the Alpha abuse his pack, so he decided to become rogue. Growing up he had been best friends with the current Luna, and on her darkest days when the current Alpha was abusing her, she would seek him out for comfort. For years he watched her being abused and felt powerless for being unable to stop it, but when she told him about him constantly losing fights he knew this was his chance to finally do some good. Despite being a rogue he trained hard to keep up his fitness, some of the warriors he had been friends with before he had left would come and spar with him, keeping him strong and fit. Since the Luna had been coming to visit him on a regular basis they had both developed feelings for each other and it wasn't long before they began acting on them. The Luna had never wanted to step out on her mate, as she believed the bond was sacred, despite him stepping out on her all the time. I could see the bond forming and I knew that the rogue was the Luna's second chance mate, so I used my powers to guide her towards him. As their bond developed, and the Alpha continued to feel all of the pain I had promised him, the rogue finally decided to challenge the Alpha. To his surprise the entire pack was on his side, and despite the pain, the Alpha was still cocky and didn't think some rogue could challenge him and win and therefore called it a fight to the death. It was an easy victory for the rogue and as soon as the Alpha fell, he felt a shift in the power and the mate bond was fully developed with the current Luna. The whole pack had continued to support the Luna, they knew that she was as much of a victim of the former Alpha as they were. They were thrilled to find out that their new Alpha was her second chance mate, and wholeheartedly supported her as remaining Luna, especially after she had told the pack she would stand down. Knowing that the Bloodstone Pack was finally in a good place with leadership that would help them to heal and become strong, I knew it was time for me to move on.
