Life had never been easy for me. Living in the city as a young lad, had its trials, but I never thought of a future as a man being like this. Trying to hide in plain sight, from the men I was frantically trying to avoid, had not resulted in the way I wanted. I thought when my parents died, that I would be comforted by my grandparents, but living with them, wasn't ideal. My past, although troublesome, had helped me to earn enough money for my own place; a tiny bedsit above a shop in town, and it was where I had been living these past few weeks.
