The car ride home was quiet. The radio played softly in the background, and I hid in the backseat, staring out the window at the passing scenery of the high street.
"Ok, guys! What's up? You have both been acting weird around each other all week, and it's getting kinda awkward. Did something happen?" I gazed towards Cade, who was up front in the driving seat. He remained silent to Bri's question.
"Oh, ugh...no. Cade c**k-blocked me tonight! That's all!" Brianna's over-exaggerated gasp made me smile, but I returned to my position in the back, glancing at the word as it passed me by.
