I sat in class later on that morning, frantically flicking a pencil back and forth between my middle and index finger while staring out the window at the drizzle outside. My emotions were all over the place as everything Cade had said to me at his place in the early hours ran through my mind, like a raging bull at a bullfight. Nothing going on around me was audible, and concentration was at an all-time low. How the hell do I make sense of all this?
