Dinner last night was surprisingly pleasant. My dad and Cade talked about football and careers. Mum discussed our weekend, and planned to do something nice, and we all just talked about colleges and graduation, and anything else that sprung to mind. It was a great distraction from my crap day, and ended on a high note, which I was so thankful for. It might have been very different if Cade had not come home with me.  When it came time for Cade to head home, I said goodbye to him under the shelter of our front porch. I was sad to see him leave and couldn't hide my disappointment as he pulled on his coat.
