After what seemed like an eternity, I pick myself up. My head is pounding and my eyes puffy and stingy from all the crying. The walk back to the hotel is slow, I bid my time. Crossing my fingers. Hoping that’d come across her.
The lobby is relatively empty. Most of my classmates have already gone to bed. I walk towards the elevator getting odd stares from all that pass me. The door opens and I push the numbers to my floor.
