Spotting the familiar car, I drag the two suitcases hurriedly. Mine and hers. She hadn’t come back to take her things from the room. I had packed Alexandra’s things once I got back to the room from breakfast thinking she’d stop by to pick it. She didn’t, so here I was lagging to suitcases hoping she’d approach me and ask for hers. Daddy opens up his arms taking me into his embrace.
“Hey bunny?” he greets excited. Kissing my head he pulls me closer, “God! I’ve missed you kids.”
