The Power Cut
Chapter 1:
Roselline: “It’s my super mega ultra transformer”
Thom: “No.. It’s a dead super mega ultra transformer”
Roselline goes to report to her mother, Brittany, about little Thom taking her toy.
Roselline: “Mom.. Thom won’t give me back my mega ultra transformer, and he knows it’s mine.”
Brittany: “Thomas! Give your sister back her toy this instant! Don’t you have your own?”
Thom: “But Mommy Brittany, her mega ultra transformer is destroying the City, it must be destroyed.” Spew spew spew! “Crashing sounds” arrg!
Roselline: “Mom he’s killing it!”
Brittany: “It’s a toy baby, it can’t die. Thomas! You stop that right now..”
Brittany goes to fetch poor little Roselline’s mega ultra transformer, she takes it and smashes little Thom’s super savior transformer, and then she hands Roselline’s toy back to her.
Thom: “Awaken super mega justice transformer!”
He says as he takes up his other toy transformer.
Roselline: “Aah!! Mom, he’s coming for my mega ultra!”
Thom: “Justice must be served.”
Roselline: “Aah!!”
Brittany: “Run, run!”
They all start running around the house playing hero and villains, meanwhile upstairs Samuel hears the commotion but pays little attention to any of it.
Samuel: “George, you’re my bestest friend in the whole wide world, Thom rather to play destroy the City with Roselline.” He says to his goldfish.
Samuel: “Do you want to play FIFA on Xbox with me? Yes? Awesome..”
Samuel: “Here you go George, this is your controller.”
Little Samuel had no idea about what he was about to do, he literally handed George the controller by placing it inside his aquarium, and instantly the entire house went lights out from the shortages that the water caused to the Xbox from the controller. Samuel was so stunned that all he did was stand and watch the sparks and gashes from the sockets fill the area with smoke, no one else knew what had happened, they just thought that the power was out. Samuel noticed that George was no longer swimming and went to call his mother, Daisy.
Daisy: “Yes, I know, but we do not conduct business on Sundays. Tell you what you do.. Send us an email, and first thing tomorrow, we will take a look into all that you are requesting, after which – we will return a phone call to fill you in on any important information that we, or you might need.”
The Customer: “Make sure my email is the first email to be checked tomorrow, my customers are falling and so are my sales.”
Daisy: “I understand Mr. McIntosh, now you have a lovely day now, I have to attend to my son, he seems to have something urgent to say to me. Quick question… Is the electricity out in your area as well?”
The Customer: “Nope, not at all.”
Daisy: “Alright, we will keep in touch.”
She ended the phone call and proceeded to ask Samuel what was wrong, and why he had that look in his eyes.
Samuel: “I was playing FIFA with George, but, he played too well and the TV and Xbox got overpowered and both turned off, now he is sleeping and refuses to wake up. Is he tired Mom?”
Daisy: “Honey.. George doesn’t know how to play FIFA, let’s go ask George why he refuses to wake up.”
They get to Samuel’s room and immediately she realizes that the controller is not supposed to be inside the aquarium and removes it.
Daisy: “Did you put this here?”
Samuel: “Yes Mom, I did. I wanted George to play with me.”
Daisy: “Sweetie, I think George is going to take a very long nap from playing FIFA, George is really tired, and you should not play FIFA with George again, or George will cause the electricity to go out again. Controllers don’t go into water darling. Where is Thomas?”
Samuel: “Thom, or Dad?”
Daisy: “Your brother.”
Samuel: “He was downstairs playing Save The City with Roselline.”
Daisy: “Let’s go and find them, come on, let’s go.”
They both made their way downstairs to find Thomas, only to run into Thomas, the Dad.
Thomas: “I was just heading up to his room, the grid check said the power outage source is coming from his room. Did something happen?”
Daisy: “Yes, he thought George could play FIFA with him and literally handed George the controller.”
Thomas looked at him and placed his hands on his hips and shook his head.
Thomas: “I don’t know what to do with this one anymore.”
Daisy: “Yeah, nothing I’ve never said about you.”
Thom: “Dad, is George ever going to wake up?”
Thomas: “No son, George is dead, not sleeping.”
Daisy punches him on the arm and mutters that he shouldn’t have told him, but Samuel only denies what he is saying and sticks to his point that George is sleeping.
Thomas: “You owe him a new Xbox, and a new goldfish.”
Daisy: “Whatever.”
Thomas picks Thomas up and they all head back to Thomas’s room to unplug the affected appliances and gadgets before restoring the electricity to the entire house. Meanwhile, Stacy, October, and Jasmine had just arrived back from the town and realized that the front gate never opened when they pressed the button on the remote.
October: “Did we stop at the wrong house or something?”
Stacy: “I doubt it, there’s Thomas’s stupid autobot emblem staring right at us.”
Jasmine: “Be careful, he might hear us.”
“Haha haha haha”
They all giggled simultaneously.
Stacy: “I think there is no electricity, there is no light on the pager, nor the mic and receiver.”
October: “I think we should call, maybe?”
Jasmine: “Yeah, maybe we should.”
Stacy picks up her cellphone and proceeds to call Brittany to find out what was wrong with the electricity.
Brittany: “Roselline! Bring me my cellphone sweetie.”
Roselline: “Here you go Mommy, it’s Mommy Stacy.”
