Stella was screaming in pain. "Dad, you might want to sit behind and try to comfort her" the doctor mentione, andd I quickly took my shirt and my boots off and got on the bed. Isabel and Alianor moved and just kneeled on the floor in each side of the bed. Ulric just stood next to the doctor not caring if he wanted to kick him out.
I sat behind Stella and I could feel her sweat coming out of her body and face. Her nightgown was soaking wet, and I took one of the wet towels on the nightstand and patted her face with it. She wrapped her arm around my neck while leaning her head back against my shoulder.
