The position of Maddie's Laboratory in Seattle had always been a mystery. It was sandwiched in between two apartments and when viewed from outside the high rise building, it appeared as if nothing was there in actual fact. Maddison probably used some sort of expansion mechanism to maximize the space in order to suit all her equipment. Another weird fact to note was that of all the apartments at Boulevard Brooks, only the one which The Rieckes now occupied had a basement! The basement was never included in advertisements to potential rental owners.
