Instead of driving back to the area with Liam and David, Hunter and I chose to walk behind our females. There was no immediate danger to the females because of how deep into pack territory we were, and with the proximity to the males of Selene's pack, that was an even lower probability.
Hunter and I walked in silence, not needing a conversation because our undivided attention was focused solely on our females.
