Cole watched as she entered the room. This women whom he had never met before held a look of such ferocity in her eyes for the crowd of people surrounding him. She was tiny, no more then five feet tall. But she held the attention of the room in such a manner as no one dared to utter another word as they all exchanged glances at this unknown female amongst them. He watched as she walked to the table and took a seat at the chair opposite himself, as that was the last chair open.

“What is your business? Interrupting an Alpha’s meeting?” The Alpha of the Jade Pack spoke up finally.

She turned to him with a look of disgust, “This is a meeting for Alphas as you just said. So I am here.” She turned to face Cole and a wicked smile appeared on her face, “As an Alpha.”

Cole refused to let his poker face falter at this new woman’s words. This cannot be. There has never been a female Alpha before. All at once there was a commotion amongst the men.

“If she is an Alpha like she says she is. She should have no problem sparring with Alpha Cole. Let him be the one to deem if she is a real Alpha or not.” He sat back in his chair, having spoke his peace.

The men all turned to me. “There are other ways to prove she is an Alpha without having to spar with me.” I looked at her trying to convey my message.

“I’ll accept the challenge.” She spoke looking at him with defiance.

Cole nodded her way and grasped his gavel. "The challenge shall be held in one years time. In which I will send my Beta to your pack and assess the situation. Proceeding the fight you will remain in my pack and train among my warriors." BANG! It was done.

Cole and Hunter were in the packs gym sparring when they heard the bells going off around the packs boarders, signaling that rouges had entered their packs land. They shared a knowing glace and immediately shifted into their wolves, their path to the pack house where their fathers would be waiting for them was a straight shot. Looking to his right he saw that the fields were already a mess, his fathers warriors were fiercely battling the rouges and were gaining the upper hand even though they had been taken by surprise.     Cole's black wolf Xerxes slowed moving his head from side to side, surveying their land, trying to get a good idea of how much damage had already been done, with the amount of rouges there were it was already obvious to them that this was no random attack as rouges never stayed together in such a large group. Hunters wolf Gaelan nudged Xerxes with his head, urging his friend to pick up his pace so they could reach the pack house and join their fathers.     As they reached the pack house Cole and Hunter didn't even seek to regain control from Xerxes or Gaelan, using their wolves to their advantage they allowed them to destroy any rouge that their eyes rested on. They saw their fathers in the middle of a huge brawl which included the majority of the remaining rouges. Jumping over the ring of rouges to join their fathers wolves in the center Xerxes and Gaelan turned their attention to the rouges hanging off of their backs. Their teeth ripped and tore, all they could see was red.     Xerxes was proud of the c*****e he caused, whoever met his ice blue eyes shrank back in fear, which just fed his hunger for more death. Fur and blood were everywhere, the once solid ground was now slick, the blood turning it to a muddy slip-n-slide from hell. A lone howl rang out and all at once the remaining rogues began to turn and flee.     When the fight was finally over there was blood everywhere; on the trees surrounding the clearing and on the nearby buildings almost looking like a spray painting mural gone wrong. After Xerxes and Gaelan shifted, giving control back to Cole and Hunter, the first thing they heard was the screaming of mothers and mates as they ran out of the pack house, searching for their loved one who had been lost in the battle. Even though it wasn't many that were lost there would still be a few days of mandatory mourning.     Cole and Hunters mothers ran over to them, embracing their sons and husbands, heads bent in silent prayers thanking the moon goddess that their men had survived. As wives and mothers were finding their men wails were heard as they cradled their now deceased loved ones. The Alpha and Beta family were all gathered in a circle, trying to figure out how the rouges got in so easily when the horns began going off again, this time from the south as well.     "Cole! Hunter! To the south!" Cole's father Liam shouted before shifting into his wolf Kane and running with Hunter's fathers wolf Vaclav to defend the women and children who were not yet in the pack house again and were still exposed targets for the rouges.     Cole and Hunter hugged their mothers one last time before shifting and heading towards the southern boarder of the pack. Their wolves becoming agitated with whatever childish game the rouges were playing at. All at once Xerxes felt a major shift in his strength he looked at his partner and could tell that Gaelan felt it as well. They refused to acknowledge it for it would confirm their worst fears, so they chose to focus on the battle raging around their pack lands instead.
