"Let's go upstairs. Whatever spell Aurora and Alana did could've delayed my heat and I'm taking complete advantage of that. I don't want to think about everything that happened tonight." Selene said as she held her hand out towards me.
I chuckled, "If that's what you want, then that's what we'll do." I replied, entwining our fingers and following her up the stairs. She paused at the doorway to our room, "Everything okay?" I asked, placing a hand on her shoulder.
She smiled, but I could see it was forced, "Could we maybe stay in a different room?" I looked down at her to see her looking up at me with a pained smile.
I nodded my head, "Sure, I'll get our things and then I'll meet you in whichever room that you choose." I planted a kiss on the top of her head before I walked into the room
