Sidney’s POV As I sat there looking at myself in there mirror , looking at all my fresh bruises and open wounds I smiled . I smiled because I knew it was the last time it would ever happen to me again , the last time Corey Anderson would ever be able to lay his hands on me again . I Sidney Grimm will be set free today ! I started to cover up my fresh bruises and clean up the fresh blood so I could finish hiding them with makeup but it just wasn’t working , I keep looking at the clock Joelee should be here any second damn it where the hell is she ? Joelee Smith is my best friend of as long as I can remember she’s my secret keeper and she hardly ever leaves my side , Joelee is the one that covers up my bruises for me as much as she hates it and wants to kill Corey herself or tell my older brother Blake she keeps my secret. Blake is my older brother he is 21 years old and will be the Beta to the BlueMoon pack tomorrow , he is also Joelee’s mate .Blake found out before Joelee since he is older they both know but both refuse to fully accept and mark each other until Joelee turned 18 luckily for her she did about 6 months ago but Blake has been in Italy for 3 years looking for our any family member of ours to come back and help me . My biggest secret besides Corey’s abuse is not only am I a wolf I’m also a very powerful witch but before I can gain full access to my powers and magic I have to learn how to control them and be trained and only a female family member can help me with that . My mom was a full blooded witch but she died while giving birth to me as she was dying she transferred all her magic and powers to me making sure I survived, my dad died in a plane crash right after I turned 15 and became a witch . So my brother had to leave to find our long lost family members, the only people to know my secret is Blake , Joelee and soon to be alpha Reese Sloan . Reese Sloan will have his alpha ceremony tomorrow night he is my brothers best friend and as of right now the guy I’m in love with until I find my mate . Before I could continue on I hear Joelee scream “ ARE YOU f*****g SERIOUS?!! ON YOUR f*****g 18TH BIRTHDAY?!!! “ Pulling me out of my thoughts ,seeing Joelee filled with rage I just looked at her and calmly responded “ yep ,nothing new so are you gonna stand there and keep stairring at me or are you going to come over here and cover them up ? “ Joelee stood there for a minute looking at me taking in all my bruises and busted lip and the gash on my forehead that I probably should get stitches for but have been forbidden to ever go to the pack doctor I was getting a little annoyed that Joelee wasn’t moving she must have sensed it considering she quickly started moving pulled out her first aid kit cleaned me all up and asked “ I thought we talked about this I thought you were finally gonna stand up to Corey’s punk ass and fight back ? “ I wanted to cry so bad but knew that I couldn’t risk my makeup that she is finishing up so I took a deep breath and answered her question saying “ I did Joelee and it just made it worse …” She looked at me with sadness Joelee then said “ Well he could’ve laid off the face knowing damn well today is your birthday and you have a big party to attend !! “ I nodded and shrugged my shoulders she fixed my make and did my hair what was natural wavy she straight and put half of it up then curled the ends of my hair she then helped me into my new gorgeous gold dress that want above my knees and was completely strapless and handed me matching new gold heels to put on I looked in the mirror and looked like a model couldn’t even see the big gash on my head or my busted lip anymore I was so excited.. We have to drive an hour away for my party as it is held at Reese Sloan’s parents lake house I couldn’t argue with Reese on throwing my party he insisted and since that’s where his Alpha ceremony will be the following day we are just gonna stay the night there plus Blake will be home tomorrow and I can’t wait !!! We get into Joelee’s car and take off and I soon quickly doze off … Reese’s POV Everything is in place for Sidney’s party tonight especially her big surprise. Sidney thinks her brother will be back home tomorrow for my alpha ceremony considering he will be my beta but truth be told my cousin Ricky , Corey who is also Sidney’s boyfriend just got back to my lake house from picking Blake up from the airport. Everyone including Joelee his mate and Sidney’s best friend knows but for Sidney and I can’t wait to see her face , her gorgeous deep diamond blue eyes light up , with her amazing white dimpled smile and her medium dark honey golden brown hair and oh my her thick thighs and her perfect huge breasts and her perfect not too skinny but not too chunky waist . She is just so damn perfect and yes she’s my mate but she doesn’t know it yet . I’ve known since I turned 18 and only Ricky knows she is my mate I’ve waited 3 years for her to find out and tonight is the night only problem is she is with my delta and one of my best friends Corey Anderson and I can’t stand him for dating my mate you see his mate Allison died after we all turned 18 she died in a terrible car accident in the rain we are shocked that Corey made it out of the car but the loss of Allison destroyed him and the only one he had his eye on after that was my Sidney Grimm and Sidney fell right for him. Knocking me out of my thoughts was Ricky saying “ Tonight is the big night are you ready ? “ “Of course I’m ready , but what if she rejects me because she wants to be with Corey ? , I don’t know maybe I should reject her and just let her be happy with Corey .” Before I could say anything else Ricky smacked me upside the head and quickly and sternly said “ Reese don’t you f*****g dare be stupid Corey is a punk and doesn’t deserve Sidney you do !” . Before anything else was said Corey came down the stairs with a big grin on his face . Ricky smiled at him and said “ Why are you in such a good mood ? , aren’t you worried Sidney will find her mate tonight? “ Corey’s nose scrunched up and said “ Hell no , Sidney is going to reject her mate and be with me forever we have already talked about it, plus Sidney is giving up her virginity tonight.” My heart ached my wolf Blade was crying and growling at the same time I could feel anger rising inside of me but I contained is I looked at Ricky and then at Corey and changed the subject “Where is our Famous Blake at ?” Corey responded and said “ Blake is in the shower and getting dressed then will be down.” I looked at the time and said “ Well let’s finish decorating and get ready for our birthday girl to arrive .” About 15 minutes later I see Blake coming down the stairs and to me . “Ricky and Corey are out back finishing the bubbles for the pool and hot tub and all the streamers , Alex ( who is Ricky’s mate ) is setting up the gifts at the table in the dining room and I just got done bringing out the cake and putting the candles on it “ I said with a big smile on my face Blake laughed at me and asked “ My baby sister really is your mate huh ?” I panicked but replied “ yeah but that will last a whole 10 minutes before she rejects me for Corey .” Blake’s face went into confusion “I don’t know where you got that idea Reese but I know something you should know that no one else does . Sidney is only with Corey out of favor to me , she never wanted to date Corey .. Look Corey had eyes for only Sidney after Allison’s death so I begged her to be with him until I got back from Italy and until she turned 18 and found her mate then she was free to go I just didn’t wanna leave her all alone with no protection here so she agreed and today is the day she is free from our deal plus Sidney never wanted to be with Corey still doesn’t she just took pitty in him and did it for me .” I looked at Blake in shock and said “Corey just told me and Ricky that Sidney is going to reject her mate for Corey and give him her virginity tonight.” Blake laughed harder and said “ Corey has another thing coming then because Sidney is leaving Corey tonight. Sidney has also been in love with you for years since she was little , just wait Reese you will see.” Before anything else was said Blake looked at his phone and yelled “SIDNEY IS HERE THEY JUST PULLED UP EVERYONE GET TO THEIR PLACES NOW !!” Everyone came running inside getting into place Blake stood in the middle of the entry way waiting for Sidney to open the door then the door flew open and Sidney’s jaw dropped and she immediately ran to Blake’s arms and gave him the biggest huge hug , her warm vanilla sugar cookie scent overwhelming my nose and relaxing me but making my wolf crave her and wanting to run for her and kiss her but I contained him and once I did I realized our eyes locked and she knew ……
