Anxceit-Anxiety Attack

TW: Slight mention of S/H, Major Anxiety Attack

 Virgil woke up another day in the life with the light-sides. He missed Janus a lot. He wouldn’t admit it to his face, but he loved him with all his heart. Every day away from him was hell. Virgil wanted to go back and cuddled. Whenever Virgil was feeling sad, Janus would stay with him for hours. Thats what he needed. But he left, and Janus probably hated him. 
 
So he got up and put on his hoodie, covering the scars and bandages from the night before, doing his eyeshadow and eyeliner, and started to the kitchen to get some coffee. On the way, he passed Princey who was still not too keen on the idea of having Anxiety introduced as a light side. 

 “Good morning Charlie Frown”

 “Morning Princey” Virgil grumbled

 “What’s got you all moody today Panic! At the everywhere?”

 “Nothing will you just f**k off?!” Virge shouted and went into the kitchen to sit down and drink his coffee, sitting on the counter without being bothered
 “Morning Anxiety” Logan said to him as he poured his own cup, sitting on the table by Roman, who warned him about the moody side not being in the greatest of emotions today

 “Morning everyone!” Patton smiled, walking through the door. All Virgil could manage was a small wave.

 “Are you okay, kiddo?” He asked worriedly, his smile turning into a face full of worry
 “I’m fine dad” Virge nodded. It wasn’t a complete lie, He may have yearned for affection from the snake featured side, and he may be depressed all the time, and he may want to just disappear. Okay. It was a total lie. Virgil wasn’t fine. He was a mess without his partner in crime. Without Janus, he felt incomplete. Virgil had accepted the fact that he was in love with the other, but he knew that the other didn’t feel the same way. He couldn’t. Could he? Virgil pushed the thought out of his mind and sighed, looking down at his feet.

 The other sides had taken notice of Virgil’s off reactions but thought he might just be feeling a bit down. Patton more worried than the other two, but it was Patton. Of course, he was more worried. Virgil’s hand started shaking from the anxiety attack that had started from the moment he started thinking about Janus. He dropped the mug and yelped 

 “s**t- S-Sorry” He went to go pick up the pieces but Patton stopped him. 
 “I got it kiddo, maybe you didn’t get enough sleep last night. Princey, pick this up please, I wanna try and calm Anxiety down a bit” Patton said and wrapped an arm around Virgil, pulling him off the counter and walking him to his room, opening the door and letting Virgil sat down. Virgil grabbed his plushie snake and sighed 

 “Can you tell me what’s wrong Kiddo?” Patton asked, crouching in front of him. Virgil just shook his head In response, not being able to get a word out because if he did, he wouldn’t be able to breathe. Patton picked up the panicking side and then walked to the Dark sides side of the house. 

He knocked on the door and Remus opened up 

 “Morality? What are you doing here? Is that Virge? What’s wrong?” Janus was sitting on the couch when he heard Virgil’s name said. He immediately walked to the door and raised an eyebrow 

 “What’s going on with him? Is he alright?” He asked and Virgil let out a choked sob so Patton handed him to Janus, who took him and held him tightly but gentle. Patton smiled 

 “He wants to be here with you two, so I think it’s best for his anxiety if he’s with people who know how to calm him down.” Janus nodded 

 “I’m taking him to my room Re” The taller of the three said and nodded to Patton 

 “Thank you, Morality,”

 “No problem” He replied and went back to the kitchen of the light-sides. Janus walked back to his room, still holding the crying side. He laid him down gently, lying beside him and wrapping his arms around his waist, still holding him close. 

 “When you try your best but you don’t succeed

, Stuck in Reverse,” He sang, knowing it calmed him down   “And the tears come Streaming down your face When you leave something, you can’t replace When you love someone but it goes to waste Could it be worse?   Lights will guide you home And ignite your bones And I will try to fix you   And high up above and down below, When your too in love to let it go But if you never try, you’ll never know Just watch your word   Lights will guide you home And ignite your bones And I will try to fix you” Janus paused for a moment, running a hand through his hair

 “Tears stream down your face When you lose something, you cannot replace Tears stream down your face Tears stream down your face
I promise you I will learn from your mistakes Tears stream down your face   Lights will guide you home And ignite your bones And I will try to fix you” He stopped singing as Virgil’s breaths slowed, signaling he was calming down. Virgil cuddled into his chest and Janus smiled at the shorter male   “I missed you sstormcloud”

   “I missed you too” Virgil said, blushing at the nickname a bit “S-Sorry, I got eyeliner on your shirt- “

“It’s alright, it’ll wash out. Let’s get you more comfortable hm?” He stood, still carrying him and took him to the bathroom, grabbing a makeup wipe from a container in the drawer and wiped the streaks of eyeshadow and eyeliner staining his face.

 “There you go” He said and snapped, both their clothes turning into sweatpants and a t-shirt, Virgil’s hoodie still on him as it was a soothing thing for him. Janus wearing a t-shirt showed more spotted patches of scales he never really showed to the other sides. Only Virgil had seen them and he found that quite endearing and special. Janus walked them both back to bed and cuddled the anxious boy again before Virgil spoke up 

 “C-Can we talk?”

 “Of course, Virgil” He said and sat up, Virgil sitting up after him

 “I-I figured s-something out w-when I-I left. I Like you a lot J, I really do…” Virgil looked down, not sure to explain his emotions

 “Like, more than friends… G-God Janus I think I’m in love with you” Virgil didn’t look up after that, expecting Janus to tell him to go away. Instead, Janus held his hand and lifted his head using his other hand 

 “I love you too Virgil. Alwayss have, and Alwayss will” Janus smiled and kissed him lightly. Virgil wrapped an arm around the taller side and kissed back, smiling just a bit before pulling away and Janus brought him to his chest, kissing his head and swaying slightly. Virgil purred lightly in response as they laid down and Virgil fell asleep, Janus following soon after.
