“Not just  one but some!!” 

“Are they hot?” We both whispered at the same time. I smacked Winnie at her stupid remark.

“Winnie, throw the pen at Ms. Anderson” I whispered to Winnie, keeping my head down as much as possible to hide myself. Then, all of a sudden I felt someone’s presence beside me. We both looked up at Ms. Anderson.

“ No need to throw it, three of you Get out of my class right now” She shouted at us.

“Thank you” Winnie uttered as stupid as she was.

“And forget about your marks of your Assignments” She continued tapping her stick on our desk. We really didn’t care about the marks at that time, we had to focus on the main thing first. We dragged Stevi out of the class.

“Let’s talk at the Cafeteria” Winnie told us

“ The school Chef can hear us” I told her .” Let’s go to the rooftop” I suggested them 

“ Some boys might be out there smoking right now” Winnie told us again, Stevi didn’t talk much.

“ Then let’s just go to that abandoned room” I told them 

“ Ok let’s go there” We all sat there facing Stevi .

“Ok Stevi tell us everything ,we won’t judge you .We need to sort out something to save you” We tried to talk to him.

“When did that happen? The Police might be out there looking for you Stevi” Winnie added and started biting her nails.

“It’s all my fault. I was just happy that my dad got me a new bike and I rode that carelessly”. He started crying .

“It’s ok ,you didn’t do that on purpose “ We consoled him 

“ You should have called the Ambulance at least” Winnie added

“It’s not Ok ,They were just passing the road behind their mom wagging their tails and I took their innocent lives” He continued crying.

“Hold on! Wait a minute don’t tell me you actually meant…..” I started to question him suspiciously.

“Yes, I killed some Chickens ,poor baby Chickens” He actually mourned over them.

“ I can’t believe he actually made us lose our marks over this” I facepalmed myself.

“Owww!It hurts” Stevi cried out, Winnie had kicked his shin.

“We thought you literally killed some humans, You crybaby i***t” Winnie yelled at him.

“They have hearts too and it’s my first time killing some living ones, I don’t even kill Mosquitoes” He yelled back.

“Stevi, You shut up before I really bawl your eyes out” I yawped at him and he remained silent after.

“Since we have no class right now, can we talk about my issue then?” I told them.

“ Yeah tell us” Stevi told me getting interested.

“Please don’t tell me you too killed a Rooster” Winnie looked at us with bored eyes. 

“ It’s not that stupid and besides I’m a Werewolf, killing is not an issue to me” I told her.

“ My 18th Birthday is in two days” i continued 

“So..” Stevi asked cluelessly

“ That means I have to shift for the very first time and I’m scared. What if i find my mate and he is so possessive that he starts to control my life?” I shared my trouble.

“What if your mate is an Omega and you are the dominant one” Stevi added. Winnie started to laugh at it

“I’m serious ,Will you guys be my side while I shift?” I asked them the impossible.

“Wait so you want me to come to a place full of hungry, wild wolves and stay by your side when you will be converted into one who can eat me, I’m out” Stevi ranted putting up his hands in the air “ I mean what if you suddenly got hungry after shifting, I can’t really risk my life” He added in

“This ungrateful brat, we are not Vampires who will drink your blood the moment we smell you. Besides we don’t even eat humans, we just kill them” i smirked teasing him. Stevi actually looked scared, I tried to hold in my laugh

“ Stop it Zeph and you know that we are not allowed to stay by your side while you shift, only your mate is allowed there” Winnie stated the obvious.

“ Can’t I just skip that day Moon Goddess” I mentally groaned myself 

“Wait that means your brother will come home too right? I wonder how Dexter looks right now” Winnie started daydreaming.

Dexter was 2 years younger than me. When I, as the first child was borne as a weak, incompatible girl, Dex has always been a strong, handsome, dominant, has  everything an Alpha must have. My father always favoured him over me but too bad he was borne second. He moved out of the Packhouse at 11 years old and studied outside the States with his Bestfriend Zayden after much confronting with Dad. He came home from time to time to train though. I wondered how he looked right then. He was such a cute baby back then.

Days skipped

‘ Finally the day has come, I heard Dexter is coming back today’ I thought myself. Some pack members were busy preparing for my Birthday Party. My Mom being a good cook was probably preparing some stacked tiered cakes for me. I was about to walk off to school then, Dexter came out of nowhere as if he was in hurry and went passed me without even greeting.

“Well Good to see you again too brother” I sarcastically told him ,He turned around

“Oh you are here, I didn’t notice you since you are so small” He smirked “And I’m late, see you later sis” He run off to his room, I gasped dramatically  

“ My height is perfect for a girl” I shouted to him and went to school.

~Time skipped~

At lunch break~

“How you feel being officially turn to 18, Z” Winnie asked me. We were all sitting at our usual desk at Cafeteria

“ I’m scared” I muttered. To be honest I didn’t know what I was feeling either, half of me was excited to officially meet my wolf and the thought of actually meeting my mate, Half of me was nervous at the thought of shifting. They said First time shifting was really painful. Some parts of me was actually scared too at the thought of my mate. How would he look like? What if he didn’t like me? And what if I wouldn’t ever find my mate, tons of questions were making me restless.

“Can i ask these three preety girls about your day” Someone asked breaking my thoughts. ‘Wait this voice sounds annoyingly familiar’ I thought and turned around to find my brother.

“Wait what are you doing here?” I chimed in 

“ I got transferred here” he replied sitting at our table.

“Why? I mean Out of all the Schools why does it have to be ours? I don’t want to see you everyday” I fake cried when I missed him actually.

“ Some girls are even ready to pay to see this face everyday, consider yourself lucky” He pointed to himself with a proud smile.

“ Zayden and I thought of trying some new things in a new atmosphere, somehow we ended up here, we missed our home too” He replied to me

“ Wait Zayden is here too!!” I was shocked. 

“ He doesn’t come today. He wanted to catch up with his parents, probably will come from tomorrow” He replied putting the straw of his drink into his mouth.

“ Oh I completely forgot to introduce my friends” I was about to introduce them until I saw Winnie

“ Winnie close your mouth flies might get in” I teased her 

“ Just how can you become this handsome Dexter from that childish boy filled with snot everyday” Winnie added totally ignoring me, I smiled to myself

“ Well Dexter this is Winnie, you probably already know it and this Stevi and this is Dexter, my younger brother” I introduced them by pointing 

“Nice to meet you, Dexter” Stevi greeted him

“ Well for a beautiful girl, your voice is quite deep, i like that” Dex started flirting Stevi looked shocked

“I am not a girl” Stevi replied

“WHAT!” Dex was shocked. Winnie and I are laughing with  our heart out.

“That’s why you are still and will be single forever, You can’t even distinguish the gender” I mocked him.I couldn’t really blame him though, for a boy Stevi looked quite preety, if his hair grew a little longer I would be confused too. I turned and looked towards Stevi finding him blushing.

“ Stevi, is your Icecream spicy?your face looks quite red” Winnie teased him and he got blushed harder

‘For the 16 years of my life no one caught my eyes and the one that actually did is a boy ,nice one Dexter’ Dexter thought  himself finding Stevi a little interesting.
