Leo The room looked like a bomb had hit it and Reis was nowhere done.  He lifted the last remaining desk and smashed it against the wall, the desk shattering at the impact.  Peter had already left the room after he had shared the news, he understood how we would react.  For some reason I was calmer than Reis, maybe our little play with the stupid witch helped me along.   Crack, thump, Reis was finishing venting with the last of the furniture.  We had just finished dealing with Sheila when we received a mindlink from one of our warriors as to what was happening.  Our future witches had escaped, saving their mates along the way.  Luke had been killed along with 15 other warriors.  Luke, our only friend, the only person we cared about besides ourselves.  It had been Cara, that stupid b***h
