Every 500 years, a pair of Gemini wolves are born into a pack. This pack is blessed with 2 powerful wolves with distinct capabilities. One born with the power of calm, strength, and wisdom and the other born with the power of foresight and strength. The goddess may not always gift all twins with all abilities, some may be gifted with gifts not heard of in legend. It is yet to be seen what the gifts are given to these new pair of twins. Since the war of the great packs, the goddess has gifted the remainder of the packs with the ability to create a mark for their own pack. The Crescent Moon Pack is an old pack with old ties to that of Blood Moon and Nightwind. The pack was founded by a marriage between an Alpha and a Beta of the two packs. A child that represented a unity that marriage and mating cannot bind. The pack mark is the phases of the moon with crescents on either side united by diamonds. According to legend, apart from the mark of the mate, which is a permanent bite from one’s mate with a filigree etched shaping a heart when connected to one another. The pack mark is the one that appears at the age of 18 through the presentation ceremony. Once you receive your wolf from the goddess, a presentation occurs in front of the entire pack. Once the alpha formally presents and accepts you as a member of the pack the mark will present itself. It is more permanent than a tattoo. What would happen when you leave the pack because of your mate? Well, the elders say that the mark stays but will create a new mark uniting the mark of your pack and the pack you’re born into. Others say that the mark will change once the marriage and mating is complete and you are accepted into your new pack. But in truth, the latter is true, and elders found out about it later as members from other pack come in and show the disappearance of the previous packs mark. The crescent moons borders boast one of the larges borders in wolfen society almost comparing to that of the city of Scottsdale in Arizona. The crescent pack is not always the pack that others want to be associated with. One reason is that the pack holds 45% of human businesses. It does pride itself in accepting pack members who have not received their wolf and are now older that 30 years old. What happens to pack members who are wolf-less you ask? Well, they become lawyers for the pack businesses, and pack representatives for any human related businesses and concerns. Another reason is that we hold businesses with humans, and third, we don’t shun pack members who have mates in the human world. Instead, we welcome them into the pack business and work for them. It’s helpful this way, we get to feed the entire pack and sustain its needs. The Pack owns its own law firm, where 80% are pack members and 20% are human mates. It owns a corporate company, a large agricultural land, its very own hospital and an entire university. Because of its free nature, wolves can run free here, we can shift within city limits away from prying humans. Up north, the first thing you will see is a stadium. The Crescent Moon stadium and training grounds. This is where most of the pack is trained to fight. All members of the pack are encouraged to train and serve for at least 3 years, this was put in place in case someone decides that ruining the peace is better than peace itself. to the northwest, is a temple dedicated to the goddess. It is styled in a Greek-roman like architecture with marble found within pack grounds. Apart from the original pack house, it is the oldest building on pack grounds. The temple is located within Pine Forest it is the most spiritually gifted place in the entire pack that magical is not enough of a word to describe it. The shifting grounds are located near the temple. This is where all wolves have their first shift, and this is where they go for their first run. The crescent field is another training ground of the pack. In the northeast is higher uphill is the Alpha Unit and their homes. This was strategic enough in itself. The alpha unit the highest-ranking protection officers live here they are the most powerful members of the pack and, are the first people to ever swing into action after the border patrol warriors. They, as much as, the warriors can see approaching people within pack borders. Down east is the Pack University, Crescent University, this is where all members of the pack go to school. From pup daycare, to elementary, high school, and college. Beside the university southeast is Crescent Moon Medical Center, the pack hospital, the largest pack hospital in the area, with the top medical equipment rivaling only those belonging to human hospitals. Most members of the pack who want to be part of the health care team go to school here. In the middle of the pack is the business center. This is where the mall, the law firm, and the corporate office, are owned and managed by the Alpha and his family, Southwest is where the pack house is located. This is the official office of the Alpha Unit and all protection units of the pack. Dungeons are located here; main food and other supplies are here as well. Southeast near the tip is where the upper class (relatives of members of the alpha unit- brothers, sisters of previous alphas, betas, gammas, and deltas) are located, they are major owners of businesses in the mall.
