“The Girl Who Appeared in Every Dream”
Chapter 1 — The Mysterious Dream
It was exactly 3 AM.
The room was silent except for the ticking sound of the old wall clock hanging beside Ali’s bed. Cold wind moved slowly through the half-open window, making the curtains shake softly in the darkness.
Ali suddenly woke up with fear in his eyes.
His breathing was fast. Sweat covered his forehead even though the weather was cold.
Again…
The same dream.
For the past two weeks, he had been seeing the same strange girl every single night.
A girl wearing a long white dress.
Long black hair covered part of her pale face, and her dark eyes looked deeply sad, almost as if she was begging for help.
Every night she said the same words.
“Find me… before it’s too late…”
Ali quickly drank some water from the bottle beside his bed and tried to calm himself.
“This is getting crazy…” he whispered.
But tonight was different.
Very different.
Because this time, the girl had told him something new.
An address.
“The Red Mansion… at the end of the forest road…”
Ali could still hear her voice echoing inside his mind.
He looked at his phone.
3:07 AM.
He wanted to sleep again, but fear refused to leave his chest.
Outside, thunder rumbled in the distance.
Ali walked toward the window and stared into the dark empty street below.
For a second…
He thought he saw someone standing outside.
A girl in white.
Watching him.
Ali stepped back in fear and quickly closed the curtains.
“No… no, this can’t be real,” he said nervously.
The next morning, Ali could not stop thinking about the dream.
Even during breakfast, his mind remained disturbed.
His mother noticed his pale face.
“Ali, are you alright?”
“Yeah… I’m fine,” he lied.
But he was not fine.
Something about the dream felt real.
Too real.
Later that afternoon, Ali called his best friend Hassan and asked him to meet immediately.
They sat together at a small tea shop near the old market.
Hassan laughed after hearing the story.
“Bro, you seriously watch too many horror movies.”
Ali shook his head.
“I’m serious. I keep seeing the same girl every night.”
“And now she gave you an address?” Hassan smirked.
Ali slowly nodded.
For the first time, Hassan noticed fear in Ali’s eyes.
Real fear.
After a few moments of silence, Hassan sighed.
“Fine. Let’s go check this place tonight.”
Ali looked surprised.
“You’re coming with me?”
“Of course,” Hassan replied confidently. “But if we find ghosts there, I’m leaving you behind.”
Both of them laughed, but deep inside, Ali still felt uneasy.
That evening, dark clouds covered the sky.
The weather became cold and windy as Ali and Hassan rode Hassan’s old bike toward the forest road outside the city.
The further they traveled, the emptier the road became.
Streetlights slowly disappeared behind them.
Soon, only darkness surrounded them.
Dead trees stood beside the road like silent shadows.
The wind made strange whispering sounds between the branches.
Hassan looked around nervously.
“I really don’t like this place.”
Ali stayed silent.
His eyes searched the darkness ahead.
Suddenly—
The bike stopped.
“What happened?” Ali asked quickly.
Hassan tried starting the engine again, but it refused to work.
“You’ve got to be kidding me,” Hassan muttered.
Lightning flashed across the sky for a second.
And in that brief moment…
Ali saw something ahead.
A giant mansion hidden behind iron gates.
His heartbeat became faster.
“That’s it…” he whispered.
The Red Mansion.
The old building looked terrifying.
Broken windows.
Dark walls covered in dust.
Dead plants surrounded the entrance.
And strangely…
A few windows upstairs glowed with dim red light.
Hassan swallowed nervously.
“People actually live here?”
Ali slowly walked toward the gate.
As soon as he touched it—
Crrrrrr…
The rusty gate opened by itself.
Both boys froze.
Cold wind rushed past them.
For a moment, everything became completely silent.
No birds.
No insects.
Nothing.
Only the sound of their breathing.
Hassan grabbed Ali’s arm.
“Ali… let’s go back.”
But Ali could not move.
It felt like something inside the mansion was calling him.
Pulling him closer.
Then suddenly—
A soft female voice echoed through the darkness.
“You finally came…”
Ali’s blood turned cold.
It was her.
The girl from his dreams.
Hassan stepped back in fear.
“Did you hear that?!”
Ali slowly nodded.
The mansion door creaked open by itself.
Darkness waited inside.
Ali looked at Hassan.
“We should leave…”
But before either of them could move—
BANG!
The door slammed shut behind them.
And somewhere inside the mansion…
A girl started laughing softly.
