Finally Found You

CHAPTER IX

AMARA

The night of the party came sooner than I thought it would be, hours went by quicker and dusk finally came. I wasn’t really looking forward to attending the party because of various reasons. One, I’m not really fond of crowded places. Two, I’m not interested in parties and mingling with people, and; Three, the possibility that Brian and I might bump into each other which may cause drama. s**t, I really wanted to stay at home but my whole family is going and it would be really rude not to. That would also mean that I’d be alone in the packhouse, which I don’t really mind though. The best idea actually.

I went into my shower and started getting ready for tonight. Afterward, I hurriedly went back into my room to prep myself. I went into my closet and slowly removed the dress from the hanger and placed it onto my bed. I don’t know what got into me but I decided to wear the most daring lingerie I saved in my closet; it was Emily’s birthday gift for me on my eighteenth birthday she said it was for “EMERGENCY PURPOSES” and this event was an emergency, right?

“It wouldn’t hurt to try it..” I say to myself as I took the garments out of their plastic bag. I really had no idea when and where I should wear this type of lingerie before, not until now. The bra itself was lacy and had thin padding and the panty matched as well and it only covered some part of my ass, I was just thankful that the color was a light shade of pink that blends well with the color of my dress.

“Damn, look at me, Taryn,” I say to my wolf as I look at myself in the mirror wearing only the lingerie. I was so surprised that the bra lifted my boobs even though the padding was thin and the panty just sat snug and tight on my hips and ass.

“I am and I’ll say it again, we look f*****g beautiful.” She replied and this time I was not going to protest her. We truly are beautiful in our own way, I thought as I twirled a part of my hair and smiled as I bit my lip.

Getting ready was the most time-consuming part. It took me almost an hour to have my make-up and hair, Mrs. Rose was the one who styled my hair and I was the one who did my own make-up. I could feel Taryn getting excited inside my head.

“Ame dear, you look so beautiful. Everyone would be in awe.” Mrs. Rose said as she finally finished styling my hair. It was all down with the sides braided and Mrs. Rose placed some flower pins to match my dress.

“I could still remember when you were still a little pup playing around Yellow Moon, and now, such a beauty.” She said as she lightly squeezed my shoulders.

“Thank you, Mrs. Rose. I honestly wouldn’t look this good without your help.”

“Oh, don’t be silly child, it was only hairstyling.” She said as she chuckled. “Well, I best be on my way downstairs Ame, I have to see if your mom needs some help with other things.”

“Okay Mrs. Rose, thank you so much,” I told her as she went out of my room.

After one last touch of blush, my look for tonight was finally complete. The dress perfectly suits me just like how I tried it on for the first time at the mall, the makeup and hair made it look more elegant. I slipped on the pair of heels that my mother bought for me and they were surprisingly comfortable. I look at the mirror once more with the complete look and I was in awe of myself, it’s as if it wasn’t me.

“Oh my..” I utter.

“Oh my indeed Ame.” Taryn, she told me as she excitingly paces in my head.

“Goddess, are you high? You’ve been like that for the past hour.”

“Hell no, I just have an exciting feeling that tonight, I think mother is going to give us our second chance.”

A second chance? I don’t know if I’m up for that, but I promised myself and Em that I would try to be open on this kind of thing. More importantly, how would Brian feel if I found my second chance? You know what? f**k it, thinking about it too much just adds more stress I’m just going to go with the flow.

“Well Taryn, if it’s true that we might get our second chance tonight. Our future mate better be ready because I am looking like a buffet, ready to eat hahahahaha”

“I like the positivity.” Taryn purred.

With that, I finally went out of my room and went downstairs to meet everyone. Halfway down the stairs, I saw my brother fiddling with his tie, and seems like he’s having a hard time doing so. I went to him to help him out.

“Let me take care of that,” I tell him.

“Ame, I-I…” He stuttered while he stared at me.

“I-I what?” I ask him as I finally finish tying his tie.

“Nothing, it’s just you look so…. Beautiful.” He said while clearing his throat.

“You just saying that.” I scoff at him.

“But you really do. Wolves would fall in line for you, but I doubt that they can.”

“And why would that happen?” I question.

“Because, I’ll hide you HAHAHAHAHA No kidding Ame, you’re gorgeous any fool that would ever try to reject you again will really have their heads ripped and by that includes the jerk who first rejected you.” He told me as he offers his hand for me towards the stairs. “Shall we?”

“Hey, let’s just enjoy the party and not cause a fuss,” I said as we slowly descend.

“Yeah, yeah” He scoffs.

When we finally reach downstairs, I called out to my mother and father. They seem to be talking about something when I caught their attention.

“Mom, Dad.”

“Ame, you look so beautiful!” My mother said while she covered her mouth in excitement.

“My little princess…” My father told me as he cupped my face.

“Well, enough of this fuss we better get going! We’ll be late” My mother told us as she pushed us outside and nodded at the omega to start the car. We all got in and were ready to go. I lean on the window and prayed to the Moon Goddess to let me have a smooth night.

KEAN

Tonight, was the busiest the packhouse has ever gotten. Everybody was in a hurry to put all of the things in the right places. I and Pierce even have to orient more Omegas for the party because we are still short-staffed. I didn’t even get to have sexy time with my mate for this, I’m glad that she understands my duties and when I do finish all of this, I’m going to give her the best night she’s ever had.

“Pierce, are all the food and tables set for everyone?” I asked.

“All are good, everything’s in order.”

“Hey man,” I tell him.

“What is it fam?” Pierce replied.

“Did you ever get the chance to mate with Mary?” I whisper.

“Well s**t, honestly, no, bro I didn’t get the chance since we're both so f*****g busy. I guess we have to keep it PG -13 until this party is finished.”

“Can’t wait to mark her.”

“Me too.” He said as he brushed his hair up.

Guests from the other packs were slowly coming in and were already starting to mingle with one another. It slowly got more crowded in the packhouse but it won’t be too much trouble because this place is practically a huge mansion, hell, it looks like a palace. Pierce and I greeted the guests that just entered the home.

“Kean, hey,” Pierce whispered.

“Yo?”

“The ladies from the other packs are quite good looking but not as beautiful as my Mary.”

“That part I agree, they all look fetching but Diane is gorgeous,” I say to him.

“I guess these ladies are eager to find their mates in the party, after all, not only is this Kyle’s birthday party but the purpose for this is to let our allies be united,” Pierce stated.

“That I agree,” I replied to him and as I look over to the entrance and what caught my eye was a beautiful, she-wolf that needed little to no effort to shine more than the rest. Judging from the car and the small flag it had in front, I knew it was from Yellow Moon, I also saw Alpha Nikolai, Alpha Liam, and Luna Martine come out from the car. I elbowed Pierce.

“Fam, look!”

“Wha- Woah” Pierce stared in awe.

“Yeah” was all I could say when Alpha Nikolai stood before us.

“Gentlemen, a pleasure to meet you.” We shook hands, introduced our names, and not long after, Alpha Liam followed.

“It’s a pleasure to have you here Alpha’s, Luna, and Lady” Pierce gestured them to go inside.

“Please enjoy the party, there are a lot of refreshments ready for you. Alpha Kyle will be down soon.” I tell them as they further went inside the house.

“We gotta tell Kyle about her.” My wolf Cobalt told me.

“Why?”

“Just tell him I have a feeling mother wants them to meet.” He added.

“If you say so, but let me and Pierce greet the guests first.”

“Fine.”

AMARA

We finally arrived at Silverhide and Taryn was already purring intensively in my head but I just shook it off. Not only was I nervous, but I was also worried that I might meet Brian by accident at the party. My parents didn’t know that I was rejected, my brother does but I didn’t tell a name. f**k. I need to calm down.

We slowly got out of the car and we slowly got up to the entrance of the packhouse, it was a huge mansion that almost looked like a palace. We were welcomed by two tall wolves at the entrance, both of them had caramel-colored skin, one had curly black hair and one had long blonde hair that was put in a man bun.

“Gentlemen, a pleasure to meet you.” My brother shook their hands apparently one of them was named Kean and one was Pierce but I didn’t get to know which is which because I was distracted by the beautiful decoration.

“Good evening, gentlemen.” Both of them bowed their heads at my father they look so dashing.

“It’s a pleasure to have you here Alpha’s, Luna, and Lady” the blonde gestured for us to go inside as he bowed, I could see his dog tag hanging out his neck ‘PIERCE’ I guess, that’s his name.

“Please enjoy the party, there are a lot of refreshments ready for you. Alpha Kyle will be down soon.” The other gentlemen told us as we headed inside, I guess that was Kean.

As we further went inside of the packhouse, it got even more and more elegant. The decoration was intricately prepared and it made the whole room look so classy. Kudos to the person who did all the planning to make this look so beautiful. I could see a lot of guests have already arrived and to my best of luck there were no signs of Brian yet, I sighed in relief.

“Ame dear, you go have fun. Try to loosen up a little and try to talk with the other packs.” My mother urged me.

“I’ll try mom.” I gave her a faint smile.

“Okay, you know where to find us.” She said as she, my brother, and father all went to their own businesses talking with the other pack members.

I wasn’t really looking forward to talking with anyone also, the main room was crowded and noisy so I had to find a quieter place to walk around. I could also feel someone staring at me or maybe it’s just everyone, so I just proceed to walk around the packhouse and looked at the décor the whole house had. Taryn was also whining and pacing in my head so I took this moment to ask her.

“Why are you so giddy tonight? Please calm down.”

“I can’t I’m so excited!” she replies.

“Excited for what? Even though I said that I would be open for second chances doesn’t mean I would like to have it now you know.”

“But mother does and I trust her.” She told me as I shake my head and continued walking along the corridors.

KYLE

Tonight was already the party, even though I almost didn’t agree to this in the first place but the thought that I could finally meet my mate made me say yes. It was also good for the pack and our allies, that way we could be united. Everybody did a wonderful job in handling the party smoothly, hands off to my boys who greeted all of the guests that arrived tonight, I know that they have been edging to make love with their mates but I had to tell them to keep it in their pants for tonight. Kato has been pacing back and forth in my head for Goddess knows how long now.

“Kato, why are you acting strange? You’ve been pacing non-stop.” I tell him

“I don’t know I just have a giddy feeling tonight.”

“Giddy? What are we twelve? haha, you sound like a girl” I chuckled.

“Hell no! It’s just that I feel confident tonight.”

“Well, we should be it our party after all,” I told him.

When Kato was about to say something, I heard a knock on my door and I could see two heads slowly bobbing out at the door. Of course, it had to be Kean and Pierce.

“You ready Princess?” Kean asked.

“Yeah, yeah Kean haha,” I said as I fixed my tux.

“Don’t forget to put on your tiara HAHAHAH” Pierce added and both of them sniggered.

“You two are absolute children, your mates better prepare themselves for a lifetime of this,” I said as I pointed them out. “Seriously, I question myself why I had to make you two the Beta and Delta.”

“That’s because we grew up together? Trained together? Basically, we three are like brothers” Pierce added.

“By the way Kyle your parents told us to come to get you downstairs, the guests are waiting,” Kean added as he leaned by the door.

“Yeah, I’m ready. Let’s do this.” I said as I fix myself one last time.

All three of us headed downstairs to meet the guests of the party. Everybody turned their heads when I finally arrived at the main room. My father urged me to meet all of the allied packs. One by one, I went to their tables and had a little chit-chat here and there, it was kind of fulfilling getting to know our allies better, not only it unites us all but it makes each of our packs stronger.

When I finally finished my rounds and told the guests to enjoy the food and refreshments, Kean and Pierce came to my side.

“The Yellow Moon lady is nowhere to be found Pierce,” Kean told Pierce.

“Yellow Moon what?” I overheard so I asked.

“Man, I wanted to tell you about her. Cobalt told me that you should meet her but she’s nowhere to be found here.” Kean added.

“Are you sure that she’s at this party?” I asked.

“Of course! We were the ones who welcome them.” Pierce confirmed.

“I have a feeling that she could be your mate fam” Kean stated.

“Only the Moon Goddess gives us our mate Kean, and besides-“ I was about to continue but I was caught with a familiar scent. That scent.

“Yo? Kyle?” Pierce waved his hand before my face.

“I’m sorry boys but excuse me” I had to go and find the person who owns this magnificent scent. I couldn’t believe that person was here at the party and I had to go find out who it really was.

The scent was so intoxicating that it was driving Kato into a frenzy, he was howling in the head. I followed the angelic aroma around the packhouse, it was like playing hot and cold but I was stuck in cold. I swear I lived in this house for a long time and now that I need to find someone it seems that I don’t know my way.

“Why does this house have to be so f*****g huge?!” Frustrated, I paused and let the scent make itself stronger for me. I slowly walked to where it would most likely become stronger and slowly it did.

Right when I wanted to turn a corner, the scent fully hit me right in the face that I almost fell down my knees. I was met with the most beautiful creature that I ever laid eyes upon, my heart was beating erratically and Kato howled in my head. She looked like a Goddess with her dress, she looked so beautiful I couldn’t take my eyes off her for one second. Goddess, is this her? Is she really-

“Mate…” My thoughts were cut off when she said it. She looked at me with her round chocolate eyes. I was at a loss for words I finally found her.
