[Leon's POV]
I woke up to find Iodine curled into a ball next to me, her knees al but tucked under her chin in her sleep. I carefully got up so I didn't wake her, and hurried to the bathroom. I felt terrible.
When she'd gone for some time to chat with the Gamma, I sat there texting my dad for advice, though I kept it as vague as I possibly could without revealing anything yet. I knew Asher's diaries were being forwarded to the Elder Council so like it or not, the information would come to light considering that we were fighting the Sigma on his own turf shortly. But for the moment, it wasn't my information to pass on.
