[Iodine's POV]
My arm was much better, three weeks would do that for anyone, let alone an Alpha. Dr Munn had let me get out of the sling, but I was off heavy lifting of all sorts for at least another two weeks. I daren't disobey her.
I couldn't stay in the hotel after a week. It was very kind of Alpha Edmund, and we were grateful. But it was too much, the staff knew what we'd gone through, they gave us such pitying glances. The rest of those who lived in the packhouse agreed, and we moved into the barracks. The only exception being our human pack members and Eloise, who moved into Amelie's old house. It was also very good for us to see the progress every day with Dominic and the builders from Blood Harpy.
