Chapter Forty-Two
[Leon's POV]
The Alphas only killed four of the Sigma's followers in their fights, two of which, Elders Brynn and Jude committed themselves, and they saw the other two happen.
It wasn't a happy ending. But it was an ending to this chapter in our lives. The Alphas had gone home, the Sigma's followers were in the dungeons at Blood Harpy. Well, nearly all of the Alphas were home. Killian was at the clinic getting fussed over by the doctor and nurse like he was the hero of the day.
Iodine was relegated to wearing a sling by the doctor, she had some serious damage to the bone that would take even her, a month to heal. I couldn't even pretend to be angry when I'd found that out, and instead tried to make sure she could see how useful I was with having two working arms.
