BOUNDED BY HIS HEART

CHAPTER 5 : [ ATHENA'S POV ]

I was standing in front of my wardrobe I still couldn't find an outfit , after several minutes of searching I found an outfit. The outfit I was about to put on was a line short blue gold lace appliques prom dress. I wore matching shoes , golden lock gladiator sandals ankle strap high heels and my accessories consisted of T- girls layered necklace with a pendant , I also wore a finger ring bracelet. I lastly put on my mascara and eyeliner which brought out my eyes , I applied my red lipstick and I decided to put my hair in a bun which resembled a rose and I left one strand to fall loose. I took my phone and I made my way out of my room.

The party was being held in the hall which was quite further away from our rooms . The walk was long but it gave me time to think about what Mrs. Linda said -  she had a point.

I passed the fence which separated us from the fountain , I was almost there when all of a sudden I get a phone call so I answer it : 

MUM : " Hi Athena its your mum I called to ask you how are you doing , how are the studies going and if there is anything you need ! ''

ATHENA : " Hi mum I'm perfectly fine don't worry! " 

MUM : " Oh ok that's good to hear , am I disturbing you ? " 

ATHENA : " Not at all I always have time for you , I'm just heading to the party being thrown on campus ! " 

MUM : " Ooh nice well let me not disturb you , you go and enjoy yourself! " 

ATHENA : " Thanks mum I will ! "

I greeted my mum and ended the call , I neared the hall and stopped dead in my tracks. The hall looked so beautiful with its fairy lights , chocolate fountain and the energy that surrounded this party.

I looked over and I see the newcomers looking at me and then they start  whispering to each other , I found that rather strange. 

                                                                           [ OLIVER'S POV ]

The girls definitely know how to throw a party , everyone seemed happy and the newcomers looked comfortable.

I was talking to Johnathan about bowling when I noticed everyone looking at something " what's going on?"  Johnathan then speaks " lets go find out! "

Johnathan and I neared the scene and I stopped , my eyes fell dead on the beauty standing over there. Johnathan whistles " dude that's Athena damn she looks really hot tonight "

I stood there just staring at her while everyone was getting partners for the dance. 

                                                                         [ UNKNOWN POV ]

I spotted this girl who wore this breathtaking dress which was to die for ,   I never saw her around before but that didn't mean I was going to waste the opportunity to get to know her I needed to know her name at once.

I approached her slowly , she then turns around and smiles at me . " Hi I'm Elizabeth Feral pleased to meet you ! "  " hi I'm Athena Brooklyn Arthur the pleasure is all mine "   " I have to compliment the choice of  the dress you decided to wear and to simply compliment you , you so beautiful ! "   " aww thank you so are you , this dress was actually a very hard choice but anyway here I am rocking it , um are you new around here ? "   " yeah I am , how many years have you been here ? ''   " Its my second year! "  I notice Athena looking elsewhere then she looks back at me " I'm so sorry I have to excuse myself , I have to go and check in with the chaperone ! "  " oh that's fine , go ahead ! "   " thank you it was honestly a pleasure meeting you and before I go I just want to welcome you  to West Campus and I hope you learn , have fun but most importantly just be yourself, believe in yourself and you shall succeed ! "  " thank you that's very good advice "  Athena smiles and then walks off to meet the chaperone. I felt really happy and more relaxed now that I talked to her - I cant quite explain Athena but what I can say is that wherever she goes and who ever she talks to, she surely will make a good impression. Girls like Athena are rare to find and I'm happy I got to meet her.
