  Chapter 22 “No, that one right there,” Marcus was saying, pointing. “Yeah, that one. It’s not too heavy, is it? Thanks.” Angie was sitting in a lawn chair, iced tea in one hand while watching her family try to put together a fence. “They’re not going to get out, are they, Dad?” “No, honey, we’ll get the fence put back up before they even realize what’s going on,” Marcus assured his daughter. “You sure you don’t want any help?” Angie asked. “No, Mom! Dad and I have it under control!” She was just nearing that age where she wanted to be independent. It warmed Angie’s heart – and simultaneously scared her just a little bit.
