14 years later.

Aurora Thomas POV (18 years old)

14 years ago on this exact day was the day my parents broke a promise.

A promise that said they will always be there for me and will always protect me through thick and thin.

A promise that was supposed to be sealed forever one that was supposed to be followed.

Today was the day 14 years ago my parents and abandoned me in a carnival. It was the day they had forgotten about me. This was also the day that I was adopted by the two best people in the world.

Carter and Spencer the world’s best parents. Yes they are gay and in love. I wish I had that. I also wish a lot of other things that will never come true.

I wish that the boy kept his promise. The first boy I had talked too intentionally. The first boy who said my name was beautiful. The first boy who smiled at me and not sneer at me.

He was also my first friend but they all disappear at the end and he had also broken a promise.

"I will see you again."

When? Never.....

I close my eyes and let sleep take over my body.

Third person POV

He was watching her taking deep breathes. He was watching her cry. He was watching her red lips open a little bit.

He smiles watching her hand fall on her necklace.

He never broke his promise.
