📖 Episode One: The Orphaned Flame
The world didn’t fall apart when they died — it just became silent.
Anita stood alone at the cemetery, her black dress clinging to her skin, her eyes fixed on the twin coffins being lowered into the ground. The people she had called “Mom” and “Dad” were gone.
They weren’t her real parents. Deep down, she had always known that. But they had loved her… raised her… given her a life. And now, there was no one left.
She was truly alone.
After the funeral, she returned to the house. Their house. The walls still smelled like them. Her graduation photo was still on the table. It had only been a few weeks since they proudly watched her throw her cap into the air.
And then the car crash took them both.
Some people said it was fate. Others called it bad luck. Anita didn’t care what they believed — all she knew was the pain wouldn’t go away.
Nights became harder.
She started dreaming of things she couldn’t explain — dark forests, glowing eyes, blood on snow. And always, a white wolf standing on a cliff, howling at the moon.
Every time she woke up, her sheets were drenched with sweat, and her chest burned like fire lived inside her.
Something was wrong.
Or maybe something was awakening.
She didn’t know who she was anymore — only that her old life had ended, and whatever came next… was waiting in the shadows.
