All day I have been on the run. Since Anna had asked me to meet her I have been thinking and thinking. When I woke up this morning, knowing I had to meet her; I checked out of my hotel. I knew I was getting looks from reception about why I was still there after so much time.
I couldn’t stand thinking about staying at the cottage with everyone. I just needed my own space to figure things out on my own. I also couldn’t face Kai. So I checked into another hotel a five minute drive away. After dumping my bags in my room; I left a text message on Ray’s phone with all the new details and to say I would be going for a run and immediately drove to a park which was remote and shifted. I don’t know how long I was roaming around for but I knew it was for a long time.
