It’s been a few days since we brought Marina home, and I was finally well enough to get out of bed this morning. We’ve kept her return private. Only the family and immediate staff know.
It’s safer if no one knows where she is. We still don’t know where Shay is, and Marina wasn’t awake long enough to tell us where exactly they were.
I walked through the halls of my home toward Marina’s hospital room so I could sit with her all day. Elle is throwing a New Year's Eve party tonight, so I had to shuffle around the decorators. I couldn’t help but let out a large yawn, stopping when I felt someone shove coffee into my hands.
