Marina’s POV
“I don’t care what the rules are! Kick Curtis out, now!” I yelled at my dad, who quickly hushed me as we stood outside the grand hall moments before eating dinner with the nominees.
“Maybe he’ll be the first one eliminated. You have to honor this, now go in there and start acting like an Alpha!” He led me into the room, and we sat at the head of the table together.
“Are you okay?” Kai linked me as he looked at me from across the table.
“Yeah,” I answered him. The smile that grew on his face when he saw me was infectious, and I was already feeling better. He was angry with me, but the second I was upset, he switched and is being nice to me. He’s letting me in. Maybe I didn’t mess up beyond repair.
