Marina’s POV
I’ve been working my ass off for a month. It’s the first day of February, and I’m ready to be welcomed back into the world. I don’t blame Malakai for wanting me to be stronger before taking over, but it doesn’t mean I wasn’t going to work hard for it. Thankfully, he’s helped me tremendously.
He’s made me dinner every night in our Alpha suite and makes sure I see Dragons who know I’m alive, so I’m not all alone. I’ve heard him talk about how much he loves me and how happy he is I’m here when he thinks I’m asleep. I’m definitely falling in love with him.
