Marina’s POV
I finally woke up early enough to take my time getting ready in the morning. I decided to curl my hair in my ponytail today, rather than letting it stay raggedy in a bun. I was walking out of my room when I saw Kai in the hallway, walking toward me.
“This is for you,” He said, handing me one of the cups of coffee. I smiled at him as the scent of coffee filled my nose.
“Thank you,” I took the coffee from him, taking a big drink, smiling at him when I swallowed it.
“This is exactly how I take it,” I told him, looking at him suspiciously.
“It’s because the kitchen staff knows how to make you a coffee,” He told me as we walked down the hallway and into the grand room. We had an easy conversation, and it was kind of nice. We really haven’t seen each other since the weekend and
