It didn't take us long to reach the river, but I continued to walk until we came across a river inlet, where it would be safer to get in the water and fill up our canteens. As soon as I spotted one, I sprinted straight to it and immediately stripped off the scrubs, then I ran into the water with Lance beside me.
The cool water was absolutely refreshing, and I was glad we had the time to enjoy it. Lance and I were laughing and splashing water at each other, when Lynzee and Beta Shawn finally caught up to us. Shawn didn't waste any time shedding his clothes, while Lynzee stood there looking shy and unsure about it.
I was definitely surprised by that, because Lynzee had swam with me and Lance at the waterfall many times over the years. She never acted shy
