My werewolf parents were delighted by our surprise visit, and they immediately bonded with Lynzee. I could tell they liked her peppy personality, because they kept wide smiles plastered on their faces the whole time we were talking.
My mum was super sweet and cooked a nice meal for all of us, and it was delicious. She prepared a big pot of chicken and noodles with mashed potatoes and yeast rolls that more than hit the spot.
After we finished eating, I led Lance to my childhood bedroom, while my mum got Lynzee set up in the guest bedroom, then the three of us took a nap. I didn't wake up for a few hours, and it was nice to get some good rest.
As soon as we got up from our nap, my mum insisted we eat again, before we headed out to continue on our journey.
