All About You

I woke up in the morning with a soft, gentle voice coming from my brother's room. He was practicing his singing for the audition that he has signed himself to. And the date for the audition is today. To be honest, I'm so proud of my brother. He is talented at singing and dancing. He has a good face, too. And because of that, almost all of my girl friends are jealous of me because I have such a hot brother. I listened to my brother's singing and waited until its finished before I actually stood up from bed and got ready for school. I took my favourite light blue blouse and wore it along with my black skinny jeans. For my hair, I put up a twin-tails because it is my style. Everyone knows that. Twin-tails just give me confidence. I ran downstairs and sat on a stool beside the kitchen counter to see my mom who was cooking our breakfast. "Hi mom," I greeted her with a smile. My mom jolted a little, I guess she was too concentrated on her cooking session. "Hi darling. Good morning," she greeted me back. I gave her the same smile, but a little wider this time. I love her. My mom, she was a chef before she got married to our father. Whenever she cooks, she will seriously put in much concentration on the dishes. Nobody can disturb her sweet moment with her spatula, except for the ones who she cherishes the most, and that is me along with my father and my brother. We are one happy family. "Good morning, ladies," my father greeted us as he was walking down the stairs. My mom and I both looked at him up and down before we shared a laugh. My father was overly confused for our odd action. "What's happening, here?" he asked us. "Father, look at yourself," I said, still laughing. My father tilted his head with confusion, and went to a large mirror which was placed in the living room, near to our kitchen. "Oh! I forgot to zip my pants," he exclaimed. He then turned around to meet our eyes and smiled shyly. His face was bright red. My father always make us laugh with no fails, since he is one careless man. But, despite that, we still love him with our whole hearts. My brother then joined us and I told everything that has happened to him. It gave me a shock when he didn't respond to what I was talking about. He just sat there staring at his food. He seemed restless. Probably because of the audition, I mean, who wouldn't be nervous? "You can do it, bro," I tried to cheer him up. He then finally looked up to me. "Thanks, Gab," he thanked me with a sweet smile. *** When I was about to step in the school's main hallway, I heard a tiny voice calling out my name from way behind. I turned around to see my best friend, Katrina running towards me. "Good morning, Gab!" she greeted me excitedly. "What's with the fuss? Is there anything new?" I asked her. Kat only showed her craziness when there is something exciting going on. That's just how she is. "Okay, listen.." she took a deep breath before she could continue her sentence. "We'll get a new transfer student today! And I heard that he's a super hottie! Even more than your brother!" she screamed, made the whole students in the hallway heard her cute voice. I covered my face with embarassment, what do I do with this friend of mine... After they started to do their own things, I put away my hands and looked at now a pinkish Katrina. I giggled to see her pinky face as she was also, embarassed for what she just did. "If that is really so, I can't wait for class." I whispered to her. "Same goes with me!" She whispered back to me.
