Chapter five: Narrator's note

293 Words
Part of my job as The Narrator is to describe characters and move the story from point A to Z. BUT. Much more than that I’m a psychologist of sorts. I need to make my readers understand my characters and why they do what they do. I need my readers to root for my characters and to show them mercy and forgiveness whereas my readers wouldn’t tolerate these actions in everyday people. I am not trying to justify any of these actions, I’m just here to explain. However, if you cannot read with an open mind and forgiving heart you will miss out on a lot. Not just in stories but in life. The worst of characters can be redeemed, and you might just realise that heroes were created by villains and not the other way around. I have the villains in my stories to thank for making the heroes who they are. So, do you. In life you have people who put you through trials and tribulations that make you stronger. Thank them. They built your character. At this point in the story I want you to take a moment to try and forgive these characters before we go back to them. Forgive their lies, their mistreatment of each other and simply forgive their human nature. They are who they are, and they will be punished for it. But don’t put down this book without forgiving all those characters for who they are... Inner chaos is what our characters are experiencing at this point of our tale. Their actions are irrational and passionate, and they do not fear the consequences. They are listening to their inner demons and that will be to their detriment.
